With a capacity of 95 rooms, the property also includes 44 apartments intended for university students, as well as some commercial spaces. The B&B Hotel Guimarães, inaugurated in 2023, is a project that incorporates several off-site solutions addressing environmental sustainability concerns, focusing on the occupational health of future users and energy efficiency.

“It is the first building of this scale to store carbon and achieve a 60% reduction in emissions. Its interiors follow a circular economy philosophy, where 50% of materials can be reused at the end of their lifecycle,” according to the project director from Grupo Casais.
