The Dynamic Building, dedicated to commerce and services, stands out as an exceptional structure within Braga’s urban and morphological fabric, thanks to its organic architectural language that defines an entire city block.

Volumetrically, the building is composed of two contrasting structures.

The first, with a horizontal layout and commercial character, establishes a direct connection with the city — namely, with its road network and pedestrian access to the shops. This more tectonic volume is expressed through a curvilinear canopy that expands and contracts at ground level, offering protection from the elements in its function as a raised “street”.

The second volume, distinctly vertical with an elliptical section, rises from the ground floor, piercing the canopy along a vertical axis and offering 360º views of the surrounding landscape. This volume, without a defined orientation, features a structure that supports a glass scale-like skin, ensuring natural light throughout the office spaces it houses.
